Approximate Usage allowing joint depth of 30mm:

Block Paving approx. 4-6.sqm per 25kg tin

Paving Slabs approx. 10-13 sqm per 25kg tin

Instructions for use:

Tools needed: 

Knife, rubber bladed trowel and coir brush 

1. Clean the surface of all dirt, cement residues, vegetation or any other contaminants. 

2. Spread the mortar across the surface using a rubber bladed trowel and work thoroughly    into the joints. High temperatures will reduce and  low temperatures increase the time for  hardening and rain protection being required. 

3. Remove any excess mortar immediately and completely by brushing diagonally into the  joints using a coir brush. Cordon off the freshly applied area for at least 12 hours. Then the areas can be walked over. Protect this area from rain or water flow for a period of at least 12 hours. A very thin film of the resin binder will remain on rough surfaces and any surfaces that are not cleaned thoroughly. This film will disappear after a period of  exposure to traffic and the elements. Practical experience has shown that on some reconstituted stone, the film can make the stone appear darker, or to have a ‘wet look’.  If this is required for the long term then an additional surface finishing coat is required. With critical stone surfaces  and colours they should be tested first. Tools can be cleaned with water when fresh. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
